The Flurry Event
The Objective:
- To break as many clay targets as possible.
The Equipment:
- Eye and ear protection is mandatory.
- One shotgun for each team member, preferably in 12 guage.
- A loading block for the extra rounds that will be needed.
- 5 trap machines placed 35 yds. in front of the shooting cages and throwing the
clay birds back over the team members heads.
The Procedure:
- Each shotgun may only be loaded with 2 rounds.
- When the team captain calls "pull", 5 clay birds will be thrown. After 1 second
delay 1 bird will be thrown very second to 1.5 seconds depending upon class until the
remaining 45 birds are thrown.
- Each bird is worth 2 points for a possible score of 100 points.
